Basketball

Junior Competition

The WDABA junior competition plays at Bellbird Park Indoor Centre on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights.

Drouin Devils Basketball Club

The Drouin Devils Basketball Club has training nights at Bellbird Park on Mondays. The training times are as follows: 

Monday

Court 1: 4:15 - 8:00pm

Court 2: 4:15 - 8:00pm

Casual Basketball

During times when the courts are not being used players are welcome to practice, the cost for casual entry is $4.30 per person.

Alternatively the courts can be hired for private bookings, please contact the Centre to arrange this.

Netball

Mixed Netball

If it's a fun, social game with a competitive atmosphere that you're after then mixed netball is the game for you!

Our mixed netball competition is held on Wednesday nights, with games being played from 6:30pm - 9:15pm. The competition caters for all skills levels, so bring down your friends, work colleagues or family to get active and have fun!

You will need to complete all forms and return them by the specified date to enter the competition.

Access All Abilities

Held on Friday evenings from 5:00 - 6:00pm is our access all abilities netball clinic. Players learn the skills of the game and improve fitness with drills and practice games. If you are new to the game of netball and want to develop your skills then come down and join our clinic!

Volleyball

Senior Competition

The West Gippsland Volleyball Association holds competition on Thursday nights from 7pm-10pm. If you are interested in entering or joining a team for the competition please see the WGVA website located in the links section. You can also find any draws, ladders and contact information on the website.

The entry fees for Thursday night competition are as follows:

  • Senior Entry: $6.50

  • Junior Entry: $5.10

  • Family Entry (2 Senior 2 Junior): $13.30

If you are unsure about joining the competition please feel welcome to come down on a Thursday night and check it out, our friendly staff will be able to answer any questions you may have.

Futsal (Indoor Soccer)

Futsal is an exciting, fast paced, indoor version of soccer. With 5 players per side on the court it makes for a highly skilled and open form of soccer. 

Futsal is played on Friday nights from 6:30pm, with games consisting of two 20 minute halves. Players can sub on and off without stoppages in play, creating a free flowing game. 

Please note, this registration is for player insurance only, all individual players looking to join an existing team must contact  the Centre.

To individually register for insurance, please click here, and follow the below steps; 

1. Create a login account

2. Click either “Adult” or “Junior” (note parent registering children: please register them, not yourself) then click “Register”

3. Log in using the previously made account

4. Change the amount of registrations to pay to the appropriate amount, click “Continue”

5. Fill out all personal details (note parents registering children: use their details, not yours), then click “Register”

6. Fill out card/payment details, then click “Continue”

Please ensure that you register the player(s) not yourself if you are not intending to play.

Lifeball

Lifeball is a slow paced, altered version of netball designed to improve mobility, strength and coordination for older adults. Lifeball is played on Thursday mornings from 10am-12pm. Players are welcome to stay afterwards and enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee whilst having a chat and unwinding from the game. 

If you are unsure if lifeball is for you, please feel free to come down and have a try for free. We are sure you will love the social and friendly atmosphere as well as the game itself.

The cost per entry of Lifeball is $3.90

Squash

Competition

The Baw Baw Squash Club holds competition on two nights during the week at Bellbird Park Indoor Centre. Tuesday night sees the A Grade competition play from 7pm, whilst on Thursday night is the Club League; a more social game. Entry for each night of competition is $13.10, and a gold coin donation is appreciated for the supper provided after the matches have finished. 

If you wish to get involved with the squash competition please come down to the centre on a Thursday night and our staff will point you in the right direction.

Casual Squash

Casual Squash court hire is available Monday to Friday from 4pm onwards, excluding squash club competition times (7pm onwards Tuesday and Thursday). With 4 courts available there's plenty of room for a group of friends, or just someone looking for a bit of practise.

The hire prices for squash courts are as follows:

  • Court Hire 1/2 Hour: $13.10

  • Court Hire 1 Hour: $25

  • Racquet Hire: $4.30

  • Ball Hire: Free 

If you wish to make a court booking please call the centre on (03) 5625 2501 in advance so we can confirm there are courts available at the desired time.

Table Tennis

On Monday and Thursday mornings, from 8:30-11:30am the Keenagers group use the centre for non competitive table tennis. Table Tennis is a great way to keep active as you get older, with non contact games keeping your reaction time sharp! 

Many players come for the social aspect of the program, with complimentary tea and coffee provided for morning tea, and routine outings organised outside of the program hours at the centre.

All equipment is supplied but can also be purchased if you wish to take the game home with you!

Entry for Keenagers Table Tennis is $4 per person.
